As an immunocompromised group, XLA patients must be well educated on COVID-19. This is a place built to provide up-to-date COVID-19 resources specifically for the XLA family.
SARS-CoV-2 Specific Antibodies in IgG Products
Because XLA patients do not create their own antibodies, we rely on blood/plasma donations from everyone for antibodies. That means we also do not create our own antibodies after vaccination. Thankfully, SARS-CoV-2 specific antibodies have been identified in IgG products. We will compile sources and updated information as more studies come out.

If you have recently been vaccinated, please consider donating blood or plasma ~3 weeks after vaccination.
XLA, COVID vaccines, and clinical trials
